USA UPDATES REGARDING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS LIVING WITHOUT STATUS

On 22nd October US took a significant steps in its immigration enforcement by hiring a special chartered flights to send Indian nationals back to India those who were living without status in the United States.

Since the June 2024, U.S has tightened its immigration rules:

A presidential order and new regulation brought down unauthorized Crossing at the US southeast border by 55%. In the fiscal year 2024 alone, DHS reported sending back over 1,60,000 individuals to their home countries. THIS Includes 495 Deportation flights to 145 different countries including India. US hopes that these measures would disclose the Irregular migration and promote safer legal pathways for those who are seeking to move.
